Is it about Sages or about Wisdom?

My Dear Wisdom Seekers. Is it really about the Messengers or about the Message?
Is is about who said what or is it about wisdom of words?
In my humble opinion, it is about listening to diversity of sources with an open heart.
Please share what you think. I am open to listen.

Hi - I think it's more about the mesage than the messenger.

There are too many cults of personality surrounding so called masters, gurus etc, and I think that in many ways they tend to disempower people, and prevent them thinking for themselves.

I agree that it's good to look into various sources of wisdom in an open minded way - but also to develop our own critical powers.
'Not all is gold that glitters', as Tolkein said.
